The BYM's newest exhibit This Island Mars: A Space Adventure, opened Nov. 12, 2002 with exciting features! Photos here show the exhibit in its final construction phase. Are you ready to explore the Red Planet? Here are some of the exciting activities and opportunities you can enjoy:

•BYM Freedom - an 11-foot-tall, 14-foot-wide space station complete with astronaut sleeping quarters, star field and over 20 interactive exhibits.

•The Mission Briefing Room offers guests the opportunity to learn about Mars, the Red Planet.

•Mission Control houses 20 computers featuring a variety of educational games and software.

•Experience weightlessness in Gravity Ball, our new virtual realilty game featuring a video camera and green screen technology.

•Learn about simple machines, engineering and robotics in PEARL, our Physics, Engineering and Robotics Lab, where you can register your class or your children for a workshop to learn and build Lego Mindstorm robots.
